- On a working DevHook 0.46 installation, overwrite the files in your MS with
the ones in the archive.
- Edit ms0:/DH/KD/DLX/dlx.ini to change configuration.
- It is recommended that you use a direct lauch boot as a custom firmware
autorun for full functionality. Try the original Dark_AleX custom firmaware
and the direct lauch boot I provide if you dont know where to start.
You can find Dark_AleX's release at: http://dax.psp-tuts.net/ or
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=24450.
- It is recommended that you change default clock speed in dlx.ini to prevent
loading problems.
- Should work with most mods, but it wasn't extensively tested. Compatible
screenshot module is included.
USB ISSUES:
- There's no way of knowing if USBHOSTFS is running in you PC, so you may run
into trouble if you use the "MS+USB" or "USB only" browse modes and USBHOSTFS
is not running. Select the "MS only" browse mode to resume normal operation.
- If the USB cable is not connected or is disconnected the "MS only" browse mode
is automatically selected.
- If you wish to use the "USB Connection" option in the XBM you'll need to
enter it, exit it ("USB disconnected" will be displayed) and then enter it
again ("USB connected" will be displayed) to make the PSP behave as a mass
storage device.
- If you use the "USB Connection" option in the XMB you will lose the USB browse
connection and return to the "MS only" browse mode, press the browse mode
button after exiting the USB connection, wait for the USB connection to
establish, then press it again to select your desired browse mode and resume
normal operation.
- Use of a launcher not compatible with the extended devhook.ini may cause USB
to become inactive. Reboot to resume normal operation and contact the launcher
author to solve the problem.

PSP WiFile Transfer v0.01 Description: We don't know Brazilian but we do know cool. Needless to say, Luiz Pestana is way cool. He's currently working on a PSP WiFile Transfer, a new FTP server program that'll work on the latest custom firmwares. That being said, he let us know of its debut release, which brings us to this article on PSP WiFile Transfer v0.01.
According to Luiz, he based his work on Zx-81's PSPFTD, which was originally meant for 1.5 firmwares. He also says that PSP WiFile Transfer will benefit developers who use WiFi WPA cryptography protocol and DHCP. Since the program can work with 3.03 OE-B, you can definitely call this the beginning of a great new app.
Why do we say "beginning?" Well, it's a debut, so expect some bugs here and there. Furthermore, the actual release lacks a readme, which makes it a bit more daunting for newbies to PC-to-PSP wireless connectivity. He does mention some basic installation instructions on his site though:
The PSP WiFile Transfer is made at OE firmware rules, then it run in user mode and because of this its cant have risk to brick your PSP. The homebrew must be placed in GAME folder, not in GAME150 like old ones.
Perhaps some enterprising soul can help him out with making the next release even better? Send some comments and technical suggestions his way and let him know you support his project. Version: 0.01 Filesize: 34.33 Kb Added on: 24-Jan-2007 Downloads: 10 HomePage | Rate Resource | Details
