RELEASE NOTES:
Welcome to the latest release of PSPID.
This release includes the 3.03 OE-A Custom Firmware (and 3.03 OE-A2 and OE-B Updates ofcourse), new iR Shell, new Devhook, new PSARDumper, and also the PsxDecrypter.
I have deicded to remove all the other versions of Devhook mainly for the fact that they didnt support 3.03 firmware as far as I knew. Doing this has made the installer a lot smaller in size.
HOW TO USE:
Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts. When it asks you for a location to install the files, make sure that your PSP is connected up to your PC, and that you select the Drive that your PSP is showing up as.
There are two types of ways the programs are copied to the PSP:
1.50: Designed for 1.50 Users only, installs the programs to \PSP\GAME\
2.71SE/3.0xOE: Designed for users of Dark_AleX's custom firmwares (2.71 SE, 3.02 OE, 3.03 OE), installs the programs to \PSP\GAME150\
Make sure you only select what you want to install. By default everything is selected, but ofcourse you don't need it all. Below are a few exmples of how to install this:
1.50 User (Scenario #1): If you want to update your PSP to 3.03 OE-B, select the Firmware installer from the 1.50 section, and the updates from the 2.71SE/3.0xOE section. Run the firmware installer and then the updates. For your Applications and Emulators, install them from the 2.71SE/3.0xOE section.
1.50 User (Scenario #2): If you want to stick with the 1.50 Firmware, only select the Applications, Emulators, and Firmware hacks for 1.50.
2.71SE User: If you want to update your PSP to 3.03 OE-B, select the Firmware installer and the updates from the 2.71SE/3.0xOE section. Run the firmware installer and then the updates. For your Applications and Emulators, install from the 2.71SE/3.0xOE section.
3.02OE User: Same as 2.71 SE users.
3.03OE-A/OE-A2 User: Install the Updates from the 2.71SE/3.0xOE section if desired. For your Applications and Emulators, install from the 2.71SE/3.0xOE section.
CPS1PSP, CPS2PSP, DGEN, GPSP, MAMEPSP, NCDZPSP, NesterJ, NGEPSP, PSPectrum, PSPMSX, ScummVM-PSP, and Snes9xTYL were fixed by Grit, and extra icon graphics by Pochi.
For the 2.71SE and 3.0xOE installations, you should check GAME150 instaed of GAME for the emulators.
ROM Paths in the documentation that's with the installer.
* The ROMS can be installed anywhere on the memory card.

I knew you were probably working on this. But sorry I didn't wait for it this time. I must say it has been good to play through resident evil again. I hadn't played it in years. I would recomend anyone who uses this to try the 3.03 level software and break out the old PSX games and start ripping :) _________________

Hey question for you guys hopefully you can help me out- some of my friends downgraded their firmware and are able to play psp isos off of the memory stick...does this software include that firmware that will allow me to play isos off the memory stick?

I'm new to the PSP, so please forgive my ignorance... I assume the two basic steps are install PSPID, then install the 3.03 fw hack from the PSP MS. I have a 1.5, so obviously I don't want to flash it. Will PSPID write to the flash when I use the 3.03 fw install? _________________ XBox 1.5 -Samsung-120gb

When you install the custom 3.03 firmware via your PSP yes it will flash it. But you have no need to worry, as this custom 3.03 also has the homebrew support built-in that we used to love our 1.5 PSP's for, and I've heard or seen next to no problems installing it.
The only prob I've witnessed was with the owner of this site funny enough (forahobby), because he had the old Datel 4gb HDD for his PSP instead of a normal memory stick. Since the HDD doesn't have MagicGate support, the 3.03 didn't work properly until he got a proper memory stick with MagicGate support. The 2 good memory cards for this are Sony and Sandisk.

The only other problem I've heard of doesn't have anything to do with this installer. but if your Run CIntro MOD 1.0.2 or CIntro Flash with the 3.03 OE firmware you will brick your PSP and not be able to use recovery mode.
this is what is said in the readme file in the CIntro Im pulling this from another site board
"The 3.02OE-B vshmain.prx in module is different from 3.03OE-A's so the program hex edits values that arent ment to be edited as they are in different places.
aka. brick." _________________
