Hack Your PSP
Ok guys…Some days I still get asked questions on hacking a PSP and I’m sure a lot of you do. If you have a friend who is a newbie and you don’t want to have to write it all out, all you have to do is send them here! This is simply just explaining how to find out your firmware, finding a good hack, hacking your PSP and putting games, music, videos and photos onto the PSP. Hope it helps guys and any further questions on the PSP just reply to the post. Hope it helps guys!!!
How to check your firmware.
Checking the firmware of your PSP is simple for you PSP genius’s but for the newbie’s out there it may be their first challenge. What you need to do is when you turn on your PSP you will need to go to “Settings” which is on the far left of your options. You then need to go down the list until you come across “System Settings”. After you have entered that you then need to go down that list until you come across “System Information”. In System Information where it says “System Software” and a bunch of numbers and letters appear (e.g. 3.71 M33-2) that is what your PSP firmware is at. There you have it now all you need to do is hack your PSP!!!
How to hack your PSP.
When you hack your PSP you have to be careful of which site you get your firmware from and what firmware you choose. If you decide to go from 3.30 to 3.71 M33-2 you will have to make sure you know what firmware to go from and go to. There may be a series of downgrades/upgrades you will have to complete to get to your required firmware. If you are unsure it is wise to ask an experienced person who knows what they are doing. Hacking your PSP can be easy so long as you read the “README” or have someone guiding you through the process.
How can I be sure it’s a good hack?
There are some hacks out there designed to crash your PSP so you have to be careful of what you download. The easiest way to be sure it is good is by reading the comments other people have left below the hack. If half of the comments are good and half of them are bad you are better off looking for another hack to be op0n the safe side. If most of them are good go for it! If most of them are bad, ditch it and try another. If you are still unsure of weather it is safe, send the link to one of our admins and they will take a look for you.
Is it possible to unbrick my PSP?
Yes it is possible to unbrick a PSP if you have Pandora’s Magic Stick. All you have to do is get it setup and follow the instructions.
How do I put Games, Music, Videos and Photos onto my PSP?
This is going to be an easy part for you all. All you have to do is plug the PSP to the computer and find USB connection on your PSP. It will be on the far left in “Settings”. When the computer finds the device you open the folder and there you have it. Where all the folders are, that’s where you place the files. Photos go into PHOTOS, videos go into VIDEOS etc. When you go to put the game in it is going to be a bit different. There will be a folder called “PSP”. When you open it, it will have 2 or 3 different game folders. GAME, GAME150 and another folder according to your firmware. 3.71 M33-2 with be GAME371 etc.
When you put videos onto your PSP make sure that they are MP4. With music and photos it should be right to go and chuck them all on there.
