RELEASE NOTES
Welcome to the second version of PSP Installer Deluxe (PSPID).

The main reason I have updated this so quickly was to include the new 2.71 SE-C firmware, plus more firmware hacking tools that are compatible with 2.71 SE.

As always, it's recommended that you take a look at the Documentation for the application or emulator you wish to use, it may have some important information on it's usage that you need to know.

HOW TO USE:
Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts. When it asks you for a location to install the files, make sure that your PSP is connected up to your PC, and that you select the Drive that your PSP is showing up as.

Devhook 0.46 (1.50 Firmware Only)

Devhook Mod 1.65c +

iR Shell 2.2
Links2
Notepad for PSP
PSP-FTPD 0.3.6

Cool. Could you please put that link in the VIP section for me, I lost it the other day when you gave it to me.

Oops, I accidentally re-upped it... apparently you found the link and already did so. so just cancel the current download waiting for approval. VIP's make sure to make good use of this link. I don't like my hosts very much and I like drawing their bandwidth up :D. I pay for unlimited storage and bandwidth, and they always yell at me when I use alot. SO USE IT!!!

The installer itself it simple, it basically just dumps what you want to the memory card.

One note however, if you're in 1.50 firmware and plan to insall se-c, make sure you select it from the 1.50 fw as it won't install if you select 2.71. You can however install the rest of your apps and emulators for 2.71 awaiting the new firmware to be flashed to your psp.

Another note is read the documentation that comes with it (i mean all the seperate docs for each app that you wish to use), it could save you a lot of stress.

DJB is right here. The docs will tell you where to place roms, plugins, anything required by the homebrew really.

I'll also add that newer PSPs will have a TA-082 (or higher) motherboard in them too, which means you wont be able to downgrade to 1.50 (hence meaning no 2.71 SE).

Your best bet is to try and get an older one.

If by 2.7 you mean the firmware, your PSP's firmware isnt stroed on the Memory Stick, so there's no point in having 2 memory sticks for the reason you asked (unless you really wanted to).

The custom firmware included with PSPID is the Dark_AleX 2.71 SE-C Firmware, which basically contains the code required for the homebrew programs, plus it has the 2.71 Firmware aswell so you can play the latest games.

About streaming videos from the net with your PSP, I dunno eiether as I'm kinda new to this myself. You can however stream movies from your PC to PSP, but I cant recall how or what program to use.
